Jeffrey D. Eisenberg

Jeffrey D. Eisenberg left corporate litigation nearly 30 years ago in order to advocate on behalf of injured people and their families.  He has obtained seven and eight figure recoveries for injured plaintiffs in more than 150 cases and has won over 90% of cases litigated, including a precedent setting jury verdict of sixteen million dollars.  Jeff is called the “lawyer lawyers choose,” as a significant portion of his practice involves co-counseling cases to shape and prepare claims for mediation and trial.  Jeff has been designing and facilitating legal focus groups for over 25 years.  His experience and data-driven approach drive his results.

Jeff joined Eisenberg, Lowrance, Lundell, Lofgren after 21 years at the law firm he founded.  He specializes in large and complex personal injury, product liability, insurance bad faith and professional malpractice.  Jeff says, “Early in my career, I felt the best thing about being an attorney was fighting and winning.  Today, that is still important, but the best thing is working with clients and not just to get them big verdicts or settlements.  Helping them get through the legal process without fear and with dignity.  My clients are brave, resilient people and getting to know them and assist them in a time of need is what I find is most meaningful of all.”

In addition to his trial practice, Jeff has maintained a commitment to teaching trial advocacy, and serving the public interest.

• Jeff has served as Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Utah’s S. J. Quinney College of Law.

• Jeff regularly speaks and teaches at events in Utah and elsewhere on subjects ranging from Bad-Faith Litigation to Traumatic Brain Injury to Trial Skills.

Jeff currently invests his time as a Board Member for O2 Utah, an environmental non-profit, as a Board Member for the Public Justice Foundation, a public service law firm, and chairing a committee for the Utah Association of Justice.
