Rick Lundell

Rick is a founding partner of EISENBERG LOWRANCE LUNDELL LOFGREN. Rick focuses on complex catastrophic injury cases. For more than 20 years Rick has represented individuals and their families in trucking and motor vehicle collisions; unsafe consumer products (product defect); medical malpractice; traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries; and wrongful death cases. Rick vigorously advocates for people injured or killed due to the negligence of others, obtaining verdicts and settlements collectively exceeding fifty million dollars during the course of his career.

Rick serves as a member of the Board of Governors of the Utah Association for Justice (“UAJ” formerly Utah Trial Lawyers Association aka UTLA).  In 2018, Rick served as chair to the UAJ’s legislative committee and was also named “Board Member of the Year” for his contribution to the UAJ’s legislative efforts on the hill.  Rick has drafted numerous bills (now Utah law) that benefit innocent  injury victims.  Rick currently serves on the executive committee as Vice President for the UAJ and is a contributing member to the American Association for Justice (“AAJ”).

Rick has been selected by his peers (both plaintiff and defense trial lawyers), as a “Legal Elite” in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2022; and a “Super Lawyer” in the Mountain States in 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Rick received his B.A. in economics from the University of Utah.  He also graduated from S.J. Quinney College of Law during which time he was recognized as a William H. Leary Scholar.

When not working, Rick enjoys spending time with his beautiful family, traveling, chasing powder at Alta, Snowbird and Solitude, and trail-walking/running with his goldendoodle and labradoodle, Tikal and Luna.
